1973 BRISTOL RELL6L, OAE954M, 1332

OAE954M was one of over 300 long single deck Bristol RE buses delivered to Bristol Omnibus Company for either City, Town or Country services, most of which were fitted with Leyland 0680 diesel engines and semi-automatic gearbox, but without power steering. OAE954M lasted in service long enough to pass to Badgerline and carry that operators’ distinctive green and yellow colour scheme: she has a fifty seat front entrance body.

She was eventually acquired by Alan Peters of ABus and was used for a number of years in his own distinctive livery: she has been out of use for a while nut has now been restored to class V1 status and current ABus livery, being used on the occasional lightly used ABus service.
